Ping Golf Clubs

If there's a PING in your swing, it's got to bePing Golf Clubs Karsten. Founded in 1959 after Karsten Solheim designed a revolutionary putter in his garage, Karsten Manufacturing designs and manufactures customized PING golf clubs; the clubs are named for the sound they make when striking the ball. Karsten's offerings also include the PING TiSI titanium driver (which the company claims can improve the distance of a player's drive), G2 and i3 clubs, PING PAL youth clubs, golf bags and other accessories, and apparel.

Drivers

  • PING Mens G5 Titanium Drivers- The 460cc titanium head features new internal weighting distribution that repositions the center of gravity for lower spin rates and greater distance. Eight grams of weight was moved from the crown and face to the sole to achieve the lower CG location.
  • Classics-
    • G2 - The G2 Driver earned the distinction of winning on Tour several times before it was even officially introduced. Also popular with non-professionals, the G2 Driver was the top selling driver model in the U.S. for eight straight months in 2005.
    • Si3 380- The Si3 380 Driver featured a slightly larger head size than the previous 340cc model for increased perimeter weighting and forgiveness. The 380cc head also had a softer radius for a more rounded appearance in the address position, and increased bulge and roll face geometry.
    • Si3 340- Identical in design to the original Si3 Driver, the Si3 340 had a simplified color code system which reduced the number of color codes from twelve to three. Each of the three color codes represented a different lie angle, which helps golfers control hooks and slices.
    • Si3- The Si3 Driver raised the bar in driver design with a fully forged face that wrapped around and connected to the body of the driver, producing a more efficient energy transfer. Original Si3 Drivers can be identified by the absence of the "340" or "380" below the "Si3" logo on the sole.

Fairway Woods

  • PING Mens G5 Fairway Woods- The larger head size of the G5 fairway woods offers improved weight placement for a high moment of inertia and improved stability, forgiveness and control. This internal weighting is optimized for each loft, moving the center of gravity further from the face as the loft increases. This provides more control, spin and lift in the higher lofted woods, and greater distance in the lower lofted woods.

Hybrids

  • PING Mens G5 Hybrid Utility Woods- The first-ever wood-like hybrid from PING is distinguished by a sloped crown which positions the center of gravity low and back to promote a higher launch and greater control. Similar variable-thickness face geometry used in PING drivers and fairway woods is applied to the G5 Hybrid.

Irons

  • PING Mens G5 Irons- A deeper, parallel cavity design widens the sole and expands the perimeter weighting in the G5 iron. The larger head and sole width allow the center of gravity to be positioned lower and further from the face. The result is higher launching, more accurate and consistent shots.
  • PING Mens i5 Irons- A mid-size, perimeter weighted head with reduced offset, the i5 iron features a sole width and cavity size created to provide a balance of forgiveness and playability. It shares many of the G5 iron features, including the larger, thinner Custom Tuning Port (CTP) for improved feel. The lead edge and bounce angles are designed for a smoother, forgiving transition through the turf and from the rough.
  • S59 Irons- With its traditional blade appearance, the S59 Series are PING's most popular irons on the PGA Tour. The ferrule and the polished and brushed finish of the S59 Tour model create the classic look sought by many better players. The thin top line, smooth hosel transition, compact head and narrow, cambered sole instill confidence and easy alignment.
  • G2 Irons - The G2 Series irons build on the basics of PING's innovative perimeter weighting concepts. With options for women, golfers with slower swing speeds, and golfers who have difficulty with long irons, there's a G2 for every golfer.

Wedges

  • PING Mens Tour Wedge Series- High spin rates and the versatility to play shots from all conditions distinguish the Tour Wedges. Machined grooves impart significantly more spin on the ball from all distances - especially short shots around the green. The compact head and rounded sole ensure playability from a variety of lies. A small cavity adds forgiveness and the center of gravity is located to produce a penetrating, consistent ball flight.
  • PING- The mid-bounce angle of PING Wedges gives golfers the versatility to play some of the most difficult shots on the course. The variable-width sole combines with a classic look at address for the confidence to open the clubface for delicate approach shots. This innovative design keeps the lead edge low when opening the club face to add loft, and to also play full shots or chip shots, high shots or low shots.

Putters

  • G5i- Numerous advancements, including a dual durometer face and new alignment features, set the G5i putter apart from the rest. The new insert design features a soft perimeter injected with a high durometer impact surface for optimal feel and sound.
  • G2i- Advanced insert technology and proven PING weighting principles have earned the G2i line of putters the praise of professionals and amateurs. The urethane-based blue insert provides a softer feel, and the insert cavity is precision-milled for consistency.
  • G2- Feel, forgiveness and alignment top the list of attributes in the G2 Putter Series. Tour-proved models, like the Anser, Zing, Pal and B60 have been enhanced to create higher inertias, squarer lines and hosels and heavier headweights.
  • Udrainium- Boasting the highest inertia of any PING putter, the Udrainium Series putters greatly reduce twisting, keeping putts on line and in the hole. The five DocTM models, each with crisp, symmetrical lines for improved alignment, have very low centers of gravity (CGs) for reduced skidding and a truer roll.
  • JAS- Forged titanium and tungsten are combined in the design of the JAS Putters to create maximum forgiveness and a pleasing feel. The positioning of the tungsten - which is significantly heavier than the titanium - on the heel and toe creates an extremely high moment of inertia and low center of gravity.
